I’ve just landed on Maui. Hookipa seems to have wind and waves, so I’ll throw some pics up here and then head down to a much needed session in the home-waters.
Nic! Thanks for reading the blog, thanks for commenting, and most of all, thanks for taking the photo. I’m honored to have you commenting here. : )
Credit was something I worried about when I started the foto fridays. Credit is important for artists and the art community, so when I know the artist/photographer, I put his name in the caption/title (each and every photo has a caption if you hover your mouse over it). However, on most of these photos, I have no idea who “owns” the photo.
I pulled your great photo (along with many of the FF photos) from http://thisisnthappiness.com, one of the best photo blogs in the world. And I’ve now added a credit.
In general, each foto friday is an aggregate of found culture– and in that way a mirror of the internet, at least how I see it. Each post is a weekly reflection on current style and culture, as experienced by me (which is why I throw in some of my own photos randomly). It’s meant to be an actuellement experience, and one that is disconnected from labels and owners so that viewers can freely associate. Everything that gets put on the internet loses the majority of its ownership and becomes jumbled in the bowels of the web– I simply pick up the bits and pieces that I like and post them here.
Thank you for bringing attention to this.
Really great photography on your site. It’s hard to choose a favorite, but I particularly like the little boy with the boat.
Hi Graham,
I am a fan of Ezzy and enjoy this blog but i think if you are going to post images that are not owned by you should at least credit the photographers.
I took the skateboard image
cheers
nic
